Lana Del Rey ‘granted restraining orders against two obsessed Russian fans after claiming to be in fear for her life’
Lana Del Rey has convinced a judge to issue restraining orders against two female fans who she fears might kill her. TMZ reported on Sunday, the 30-year-old claims the two Russians are obsessed stalkers and she’s afraid for her life.
Lana filed ‘a set of restraining orders,’ according to the website, in which she described how the fans have screamed at her in public and tracked her down to a new home after she moved to escape them.
She says they sleep outside her home, have left rambling letters in her mailbox and have threatened violence. The website reports the Born To Die performer has also now hired a full-time bodyguard and is using off-duty police officers for protection. In granting the restraining orders, the judge ordered the girls to stay 100 yards away from Lana and her home.
It’s the latest in a recent string of woes for the 30-year-old Honeymoon artist. In November, she split from her Italian photographer boyfriend Francesco Carrozzini after a year-long romance.
Then a woman was arrested for allegedly stealing her 2013 Jaguar XK convertible from her Los Angeles home, just weeks after after a man was found living in the star’s Malibu garage.
